Herbal Food & Supplements
Traditional actives, modern standardisation.
Traditional actives, modern standardisation.
Herbal products fail on three predictable fronts: unstandardised extracts, heavy metal and pesticide limits, and claims that cannot be defended. We source to specification, standardise on marker compounds and keep the claim inside what the evidence and the regulation allow.
What a Herbal Food & Supplements project looks like

Marker retention through processing and shelf life, not just appearance.
Claims & literature
Traditional-use versus scientific claims, with references compiled for audit.
Start with a technical conversation, not a proposal
Tell us the product, the target cost and the deadline. In the first call we will tell you whether it is feasible, roughly what it will take, and what we would check first. If it is not a fit for us, we will say so.

Questions we get asked
Should we use raw herb powder or standardised extract?
Extracts give dose consistency and a defensible claim. Powders are cheaper and traditional. We often use both in one formulation for different reasons.
How do we manage heavy metal limits?
Through supplier qualification, incoming testing and, occasionally, extract switching. It has to be a system, not a one-time test.
Can herbal products be exported?
Yes, but destination rules vary sharply. We check the target market's permitted botanical list before development, not after.
