Food & Beverage

Products that survive the shelf, the audit and the P&L.

Overview

Products that survive the shelf, the audit and the P&L.

Most food ideas fail somewhere between the kitchen sample and the third production batch. We work on that gap. Align Experts takes a concept through bench formulation, pilot trials, shelf-life validation, FSSAI labelling and factory scale-up, so the product that reaches the shelf is the same one your consumer tasted.

Capabilities

What this practice covers

FAQ

Questions we get asked

Do you work with startups or only established plants?

Both. For a first-time brand we usually start with a feasibility and costing study before any bench work, so you know the unit economics before spending on trials.

Can you work with our existing contract manufacturer?

Yes. We frequently act as the technical arm for brands whose manufacturing is outsourced, running trials at the co-packer's site and holding them to the agreed specification.

How long does a typical development project take?

A straightforward line extension runs 6-10 weeks. A new category product with stability studies usually takes 4-6 months, dominated by shelf-life validation.

Tell us what you are trying to make.

Send the brief, the sample or just the idea. You will speak to a consultant, not a call centre.
